Our Davis Mountain Yucca (soapweed) is a 6-inch tall specimen of Yucca elata, native to the trans-Pecos region of Texas. This striking ornamental produces a rosette of long, narrow leaves and eventually sends up a dramatic flowering stalk that can reach 15+ feet. The roots produce natural saponins used for soap-making for thousands of years.
